Sigur Ros played at the same time as Phoenix (and supposedly Daft Punk was suppose to show) but I refused to miss Sigur Ros and, as expected, they did not disappoint! Their music always brings me to a place that no other artist can. I can die a happy woman knowing that I finally saw them in concert! Thank you for coming to Coachella!!! All those that missed it lost out on one of the best performances of the weekend! <3

This was my third Sigur Ros show, each one has been more powerful than the one before. I saw them at Outside Lands in San Francisco last summer, which was amazing in itself. Their Coachella show, with the inclusion of the newer, more ‘agressive’ material, was absolutely stellar. This band takes you to a deep and profound place, like no other. It is art at its finest. It is spiritual and transcendant music which masterfully uses tension and release to create stunning beauty. This performance was one for the ages….flawless and perfect.
