Amazing show in Austin tonight, the best show I’ve ever been to. The music was incredible, so much more powerful than I expected. The lights and visual were an unexpected surprise, and were stunning.
I have been waiting 12 years to see Sigur Ros perform live. They met my very high expectations and then some. Everything about the show was absolutely beautiful. Please come back sometime very soon!
Hands down the best show…THE BEST show I’ve ever seen. the music was amazing and the lighting and effects were stunning I especially liked the beginning.
I can’t wait for Sigur Ros to return so I can share the experience with my wife!
Spectacular show, phenomenal performance, and awe-inspiring music. Jonsi’s voice was magical and pure. Hearing his voice ring through the auditorium was so incredible, I’m lost for words.
Sigur Ros is a band that you MUST see live. I have waited for years for them to swing by North America, and I feel so lucky to have been in town when they did. Really a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Sigur Ros, thank you for making your way to Austin! We love you.
Without a doubt the only show that makes you go through all the emotions that exist for humans. Great musicians, amazing music. Thanks for making this world a little better with your music.
BEST SHOW!!! Hands down………. I have been waiting since 2001 and boy was it worth it. I went with my wife and she never liked Sigur ros, but after last night…….she’s a new fan…please come back..!!
WOW, WOW, WOW! Thats all I could say as the last note of Popplagio faded on the most incredible finale to the most incredible show of my life. I have been waiting 12 years to see them, and it surpassed my expectations. I took my 15 yr old so for his first concert, and, what a first concert! We were both in AWE! I told my wife I will take her the next time because I just kept thinking how moved she would be by this spritual experience. It will be a show I will never forget!
Most powerful & awe-inspiring display of musicianship I’ve ever seen. I (as well as most everyone else apparently) have been waiting years to see them live. My wife and I shared an experience that we still cannot put into words. The greatest show we have ever seen.
Thank you all so much for coming. Please try and make it back to the states (Texas especially) soon.
Like the tenth time I’ve seen Sigur Ros. An amazing experience. Never fail to amaze me. I wasn’t expecting a greatest hits concert … they gave it to us, and it was incredible! They killed the crowd … everyone on their feet in the end!
The show was so beautiful that I was close to tears the entire time. The music was so pure and intense that it really made the performance a moving experience. The visuals and lighting made the show that much more perfect and I truly hope I will be able to see them again one day. Most definitely a once in a lifetime performance that I will never forget. Thank you Sigur Ros.
First time seeing you live. It was outstanding. You are beautiful musicians and I cannot believe how long you played. I am extremely impressed at your endurance but not nearly as impressed by the sheer beauty and complexity of the sounds you produce. Thank you for coming to Austin. Your performance was beautiful and life-changing and completely unforgettable. Please come back soon!
Amazing show! It’s hard to put into words how incredible it really was. AUSTIN LOVES YOU! COME BACK SOON!
Incredible doesn’t even begin to describe this show. I’ve seen Sigur Ros once before on their last US tour and I knew they wouldn’t disappoint, but I wasn’t prepared to be as in awe as I am (still, 16 hours later). It was ethereal, lush, heart-breaking…one of those performances where you’re on the verge of tears the whole time because there’s just no way that something this real is this beautiful. Thank you & I hope to see you all very soon.
Our 3rd time seeing Sigur Ros plus Jonsi’s tour a few years ago. We were blown away by the power and beauty of the music and amazing visuals. Thank You for coming back to Austin. We love you.
My fifth time seeing you live, and it was beyond worth the wait. I find it difficult to put into words how emotional and magical your show was, maybe it’s best not to? I always think, during your shows and after, sometimes silence speaks louder than words. Thank you so much, Jonsi, Orri, and Georg. Come back to Austin again soon.
one of the best shows I’ve ever seen! so beautiful and emotional, I just can’t get over it. the new songs were great! definitely an experience I will remember forever
Thank you a memorable night! Such a great show!
Jonsi has the best live voice I’ve ever heard. Holy crap man. Blew me away. Hoppipolla and Saeglopur were the first songs I ever heard, and they were astounding live. Everything was.
I love the new songs they played, and I’m way too exicited for their new album now.
I felt like I was at an art show, not just a concert. This was art, raw and powerful. It energized the audience; you could feel it in the room. Fantastic experience, and one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to.
waited five years to see sigur ros. saw Inni in theaters
and thought that it was as close to a live show as I’d get.
thank you for coming to Austin! surpassed five years of high
expectations and gave the audience a new, serious look
at how meaningful music can be.
I’ve been a fan since 10 years ago,,, and finally we had my wife and I the chance to see them live.. It was just like a concert from Gods orchestra with and angel singing!!!!!! Heart touching and just amazing!!!
I can’t add much to what’s already been said. I took my 9 year-old son, and it was such an incredible experience to share with him. The power, beauty, raw emotion… spiritual is the perfect description.
I’d been listening to the concert setlist all week on my iPod, but the live performances blew the recordings away in all cases.
Beautiful show! Very emotional experience. I love your music so much it means alot to me and seeing you guys live was so amazing. I hope you visit Austin again very soon! Thank you for sharing your gift with the world.
This show will amaze your cerebral cortex. Not only are the songs there musically (the new songs are an amazing mix with the older songs), the production will leave you standing there amazed. It was difficult to remember to clap after each song because you are just standing there in awe. There are so many layers to the sound and the lighting and visual effects add a 5th dimension. Thank you Sigur Ros for writing such amazing music, and performing them in 5D!
Magical night we knew it would be. I felt the energy of your music even though I did not understand the words. I felt truth, and pureness, and I asked who is this band? Iceland I have heard from close friends is kind of a Utopia.I see the world as a place for everyone, and a way of producing love for everyone. The powers of our land teach us to be separated. This is not natural, and is a big answer to mental illness here. The music you make gives me hope, some are still aware, and awake. love you.
This concert was by far my best one yet, and I have benn going to rock concerts since 1975. The intensity of the music and light show was second to none.
I can’t add much more to what has been said, but I wanted to say thank you for coming to Austin. I have been listening for well over a decade, but this was my first time seeing you live and just finally experiencing it; the emotions all built up inside just flowed out for two hours. From the very first moment hearing Jonsi’s vocals to the last defeaning howl of the guitar.. wow! A truly a memorable experience, one my wife and I will never forget. Thank you.
The most enjoyable, beautiful, uplifting, cathartic, wondrous, and awe-inspiring show I have ever had the privilege of witnessing. Sigur Ros brought tears to my eyes several times, each from pure emotion evoked by the experience of this show. I made the 5 hour drive back home saying to myself “I just saw Sigur Ros”… Definitely worth the 5 year wait.
Thank you for performing and providing such an amazing experience.
i have waited 13 years to see you and it was truly worth the wait. i have never been so overcome with joy listening to music.
thank you for sharing your gift with austin. i look forward to my next sigur ros show.
