although this is about a week since i attended the show with my friends, i felt it necessary to post how i felt about the show. my friends and i got the the venue at 7:30, and the show started at 8....plenty of time. the bad thing was that during the amina perfermance there were a lot of people still coming in and stuff, so it was kinda frustrating. anyways, the venue was amazing. the murat theatre is a great place to go for shows. i really liked amina a lot. their performance was really show of how they create the music they do. great performace hands down. there was about a 30 min. break in between sets, and by that time the anticipation was really high and you could tell that everyone around was getting really excited. lights went out and cheers began! with the curtain down the band broke into takk... and hoppilpola which awesome and really brought anticipation for the sheet to rise. next was ny batteri which was just awesome. i was wondering about the horns not being in there, but they really pulled if off. skipping ahead to the last few songs, heysatan was very cool how the band all grouped together like sitting around a campfire played while little lights brightened everytime the band struck a chord. the hand left the stage for a brief moment then came back out and played what in my opinion is their best song "popplagio". this was the most amazing encore i have witnessed. it's just an amazing song and def. a perfect finale. i think everyone was just in amazement still when the lights went on. people were just looking at eachother in awe. great show! highlights were gong, untitled 4&8, heysatan.............really, the whole show!
