fan review
we walked into the louisville palace and waited for 7:00 pm to roll around so that we would be able to enter into the building. when it was exactly 7:00 they told us to all step foward. britney, dustin, the rest of us, and i were the first people to set foot on the beautiful marble esque floor. we turned to the left and bought some of the toothfaerie's merch instead of the screen printed shirts. britney and i spent the most money out of everyone there that night! when we first walked in and sat down it finally hit me. we were going to see sigur ros. my knees were shaking, my palms were sweaty, and i just kept thinking, "my god." amina opened for them and played an hour long set. it was very interesting to watch them play, and i hope to see them again sometime! the saw thing was really neat. but then, the screen lowered and there was a long 10 minutes of people walking around and getting refreshments. we sat still in our seats. and then.... the screen turned red with a water waves sort of feel.. and there he was.. jonsi. we all just turned and looked at each other in awe as they played takk. it was the most amazing show i have and will ever attend. that is, unless they return again! they even surprised us all with untitled #1!! the whole crowd went wild as soon as kjartan started that wellknown tune. also, i must add when they played untitled #4, i shed some tears and noticed a great number of other do so too! at the end they played untitled #8. it was wonderful. people were going into convulsions and even screaming really loud. i watched as this guy behind us was drumming on his knees, screaming, dancing, and shaking his head. normally you would think he had went mad , but all of a sudden about 5 other people on that row, and infront of the row started doing the same thing. even i felt like it was okay to open up and get into it. it was without a doubt, a very beautiful moment.
