both [l.a.] shows were phenomenal. i really can'd describe the show in words. you
just have to see it for yourself. the first thing i noticed was the diversity of the
crowd of people attending the shows. most were something crowd but there were a mix
of different ages and crowds. the first night had dominic jeroro ( i dont remember
the spelling) opening. he was a folk guitar type. not really what i was expecting.
the second night had the album leaf opening. they were really good, and more sigur
ros-type of style. as for sigur ros themselves....again all i can say is that you
have to see them to actually know what it is like. i only recognized a few songs by
name, svefn-g-englar, olsen olsen, and i believe they ended with popplagið. both
shows were fantasitic. popplagið seemed like it just went on forever and i didn't
want it to stop. svefn was recieved by the crowd with applause. in the end the band
came on for two bows. i think the crowd would have kept claping for a third but the
house lights came on. i can't wait to see them again.
