Photo Assignment #2
Thank you everyone for the awesome level of participation in last week's "photo assignment".
This week's theme is "fresh".
Now shut down your computer, grab your camera, and go enjoy the first taste of spring.

you didn't actually specify the images should be taken specifically for this, just hinted - wanderlust did, and it probably bears repeating. 'tis entirely
possible that the above poster's camera date could be off, of course. mine's perpetually in 1999, having no memory of it when the batteries run
out...

well, i still think the netting doesn't do anything but distract. i don't think it's visible enough to be making that statement.

OUCH, obviously this picture wasn't taken for this thread seeing as how it had a seperate meaning and it was taken like two weeks ago
thats no reason to bash the pic!

you can easily reconcile yourself - now you know the guidelines, go out and take a 'fresh' picture!

i think the net gives the pic a nice twist. i mean if it wasn't for the net it would just be a nature scene, which is quite boring, as beautiful as
it is. but i agree it's not strong enough to make any statement at all. a net is not a great symbol of society or technology as well...

I think that had the blue cast been removed from the photo and the orange / red levels been increased around the area of the "net", it would have
had a better impact.
As for now, I'll just pretend there's an invisible polar bear in the middle of the frame. It looks much better that way.

i experimented on photoshop making the netting brighter and more of an eyesore, but it just made the picture look uglier. i had some other pics to
demonstrate my aim, but i felt this one fit the "fresh" idea best.

Well, it's not Spring here, but I managed to get a couple of photos that say Fresh to me. I'm not a photographer, so they're nothing particularly
special.

I took these yesterday with my cell phone camera, so thank you for putting up with the low quality already in advance.

i snowed 80cm/32in this night and it's still snowing
looks fresh enough to me :D
now i need to find the courage to go out brrr

those are actually really good resolution for a cell phone camera. what kind do you have? mine doesn't take near that good pictures.
