the vienna 2002 recording is one of my favorites. the strings are so high in the mix that it gives it a different sound.

yeah, it's a goodan.
the show is widely circulated but that version is lossy.
am glad to have got my hands on a lossless one.
the version of von is fantastic.

i've downloaded dc++ and followed exactley the instructions but as soon as i try to get the list of files owned by an user it appears this error
[00:42] Your direct connect client has supplied an invalid IP address in a connection request (client sent 192.168.0.2, you have

what can i do?
(i've tryed to switch in active mode after havin fixed up the router's settings, but then it not even allows me to get onto the channel :\)

heya
just wanted to let you all know that the music ftp on ftp://ftp.sigur-ros.co.uk has been
revamped. it's now 16 times faster (16 Mbits as opposed to 1Mbit before) and now allows 4 users instead of 2. each user is allowed 2 connections.
the backup ftp is still open at ftp://freebox.mistur.org

In general I think this may need to be considered. Perhaps not the MP3 site as that is mixed but maybe victoryrose Loss Less?
The only thing that keeps it available and up at present is me paying for the rapidshare account. If for some reason I cant pay, it disappears!
I have wondered about a more perminant solution, especially for the Loss less concerts
If for some reason I cant maintain the site in the future I would be happy to pass on all the files if someone like Darren would wish to keep
them/upload them in the future.
If they were to be linked in anything like an official capacity, i feel they would all need to be checked carefully for consistent quality to ensure
they are as a higher standered as possible. Although I have tried to do that already, to get this volume of re-mastered concerts available in a
relatively short time there may well be aspects on some of the concerts that could be improved upon
Something to bare in mind for the future perhaps.

to upload ones in the future one by one onto something like rapidfire. we could put them onto somethign like our ftp site - or another one.
