I found this by searching for my name :p I don't frequent the gay thread all that often.
As far as I know we still don't have gay marriage, but we were the first Australian state to allow same sex couples to register and therefore get the
same rights. But there was something a couple of months ago about the state Labor party (who are currently in government both at the state and federal
level) supporting gay marriage, but I think it's up to the federal government and unfortunately I'd say there is far too much religion in power at
the moment for it to change.
Apparently we were the last state to make being gay legal (forced by the UN in 1997 so says wiki), so it's nice to see we're a little less backward
nowadays.
this is why calle is crying, and it has some of the hottest swedish footballers in it too. (and an annoying ad at the start)(and it's in swedish but
who cares)

Today, I stood up in front of my class and explained that, in 2010, judging someone for their sexual preference is almost the same as judging someone
by the colour of their skin.

Hopefully little gay / curious / bi EDIT - NAME OF STUDENT - (yes, that's his name) feels like he has a teacher who isn't a homophobe now, and
he'll come out a bit...
when i say come out, I mean like - behave - show his personality - not 'come out' like, make a 'I'M GAY AND PROUD' poster...
i am gay... that says a lot about my sexual preferences, yet little (or nothing) about my personality
