the single was the first uk release for sigur rós, in september 1999. this was the release that grabbed everyone's attention. the single contains 2 songs from ágžtis byrjun, svefn-g-englar and viðrar vel til loftárása, and two songs performed live at the icelandic opera house in reykjavík on june 16th 1999. track 3 is a new song which hasn't been recorded in a studio and track 4 is from von (1997).
